From process to the field.

  • How Does Pyrolysis Work?

A short video (in Turkish) that uses a small demo kit to show, step by step, how pyrolysis recycles organic waste. As the waste is heated without oxygen it releases water vapour, then a hydrogen-rich gas, wood tar and wood vinegar; when pyrolysis is complete, solid carbon (biochar) is left behind.

  • Recycling Organic Waste by Pyrolysis

A short video (in Turkish) on how agricultural waste such as olive pits, walnut shells and apricot kernels is collected and dried at the V-Pyro pyrolysis plants, then processed without oxygen into wood vinegar, wood tar and biochar.

  • Carbon Seed Cubes

A short video (in Turkish) on V-Pyro Carbon Seed Cubes, which protect the seed in afforestation work: a mix made with biochar, wood vinegar and wood tar is poured into moulds and a tree seed is placed in each; the cubes are scattered over the planting area by hand or from the air and are activated by rainfall. Product page: Carbon Cube.

  • Comments from One of Our Tomato Growers

A short field video (in Turkish), filmed in a tomato field, with comments from one of our tomato growers on V-Pyro Pyroligneous Acid (wood vinegar). Product page: Pyroligneous Acid.

  • Recycling Synthetic Waste by Pyrolysis

A short video (in Turkish) on how pyrolysis turns synthetic waste such as plastics and tyres into liquid fuel and gas. V-Pyro products, by contrast, are made from agricultural waste such as olive pits, walnut shells and apricot kernels.
