In line with the summit's agenda focused on “Technology, Agriculture and Industry”, we showed how our pyrolysis technology turns agricultural and industrial waste into high value-added products. The highlights among these technologies:
Wood Vinegar (Pyroligneous Acid): A product that increases yields in agriculture, enriches the soil and offers a natural alternative to chemical pesticides, attracting attention as an important solution for sustainable agriculture.
Biochar and Activated Carbon: Besides improving soil quality, these products have a wide range of uses, from water treatment to industrial filters, and have the potential to create economic value from waste.
Hydrogen from Waste: Thanks to V-Pyro's patented technology, hydrogen, a clean energy source, is produced from biomass waste, fully in line with the country's green energy goals.
The Mersin Economy Summit was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, coordinated by the Mersin Governorship, organised by the Mersin Economy Platform and the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Mersin Commodity Exchange, the Mersin Chamber of Shipping, the Mediterranean Exporters' Associations and the Çukurova Development Agency. With our “carbon-negative” technologies, which contribute directly to the summit's vision of “a productive, competitive and environmentally conscious Mersin”, we turn waste from a problem into a valuable raw material according to circular economy principles, and play a pioneering role in technology and sustainability for the economic future of Mersin and of Türkiye.
