V-PYRO NUTRIWOOD

Product Description:

V-PYRO Wood Vinegar (Pyroligneous Acid) is a 100% natural liquid product obtained by the slow pyrolysis of organic agricultural waste under oxygen-free conditions. It is used as an additive in organomineral fertilizer systems for plant nutrition, soil improvement, and enhancing fertilizer efficiency. It balances soil microbial structure, regulates pH, and improves nutrient uptake.

Qualitative Composition (Ingredient List):

Component GroupSubstanceFunction
Main Organic AcidAcetic Acid (3–7%)pH regulator, root development stimulator
Phenolic CompoundsGuaiacol, Cresol, Phenol (0.5–2%)Microbial activity regulator, antifungal
Other Organic AcidsPropionic, Butyric, Formic (0.2–0.5%)Microbial balance, growth regulator
Nitrogen CompoundsTrace amino group compoundsSupplementary nitrogen source for plants
Volatile Organic CompoundsEsters, Ketones, Aldehydes (total <0.5%)Scent carrier, microbial effects
MineralsK, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn (as trace elements)Complementary nutrients for plant metabolism

Applications in Plant Use:

  • Foliar application: Acts as a plant growth regulator and improves resistance to diseases.
  • Soil application: Revitalizes soil microbiota and enhances fertilizer effectiveness.
  • Seedlings: Promotes root development.
  • Mixed with organic fertilizer: Boosts efficacy and reduces odors.
  • In greenhouses and open-field farming: Supports plant health and growth.

Usage & Dosage:

  • Foliar application: Dilute at 1:200 to 1:300 with water and spray.
  • Soil application: Add to irrigation system at a 1:100 to 1:200 dilution rate.
  • As a fertilizer additive: Mix 1–2% into compost/fertilizer.

Application Timing: Can be applied at the start of the vegetative stage and during the growth period at 15–20 day intervals.

Scientific Basis:

The acetic acid and phenolic compounds in wood vinegar stimulate microbial activity in the soil and support root development. Research shows that it enhances plant access to nutrients, which in turn increases the rate of photosynthesis (Ogawa & Okimori, 2010). It is particularly valued in organic agriculture for reducing the need for pesticides and for rehabilitating soil health.
