SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

As Veldo Makine R&D Inc., we see it as part of our responsibility not only to produce but also to undertake projects that add value to society and the environment. We prioritize sharing the products and technologies we develop in ways that raise environmental awareness and provide social benefits.

Some of the social responsibility projects we have carried out within this scope are as follows:

• To the Anamur Forestry Directorate, we donated 1,500 carbon cubes for the rapid afforestation of areas at risk of erosion and landslides. These carbon cubes have a special structure that facilitates sapling establishment, increases water retention capacity, and revitalizes the soil.

• To the ALDO Group Management Team, we presented our carbon cubes, which symbolize our company’s contribution to the natural cycle, as symbolic gifts. In doing so, we supported the establishment of sustainability awareness as a corporate value at the management level.

• Together with our company employees, we carried 250 carbon cubes to the field and placed them in nature to make a direct contribution to the environment. This activity strengthened team spirit and provided a meaningful experience that increased environmental awareness among our staff.

• Another important contribution we made was providing free pyroligneous acid (wood vinegar) support to an animal shelter. Our product offered a healthy and natural alternative to chemical disinfectants used at the shelter.

• For plants grown in municipal greenhouses, we also supplied our pyroligneous acid product free of charge to regulate soil pH. With this support, we contributed to the spread of organic farming practices.

• Additionally, we carried out a special project with students from Toroslar Mimar Sinan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. We introduced young people to pyrolysis technology and operated our laboratory-scale device together in the school workshop, providing both educational and hands-on experience. This activity inspired the youth by giving them an insightful experience related to environmental technologies.
